“I don’t need consent every time, right?”

That’s one of the biggest myths out there.

We often assume:

– If they didn’t say “no,” it’s a “yes”

– Consent only matters for big decisions

– It’s only relevant in romantic relationships

But the truth is, consent goes beyond that. It’s about understanding and respecting boundaries in all areas of life.

Consent means making sure people feel safe, heard, and respected. It means creating space where they can say “yes” or “no” without pressure.

Whether you're:

– asking for someone’s opinion

– sharing their idea

– checking their comfort level in a meeting

Consent is about mutual respect. When practiced fully, it builds healthier relationships at work, at home, and beyond.

How do you practice consent daily?
